October 2011I’m very excited to have just completed a recent Little Kids Rock seminar here in Nashville. This is an outstanding organization and I highly recommend them to all music and arts teachers. They’re doing so much to keep music in schools. I’m regularly asked from beginning guitar players and advanced guitar players alike in search of their next instrument, what guitars I recommend. For a while now I have been teaching with my Recording King ROS-06 and just love it. It’s a tremendous amount of guitar for the price. I think Recording King is building some extremely good and reasonably priced guitars and I’m now very proud to endorse them! Also, I’ve been spending some time with two remarkable Jim Worland Worlatron electric guitars. I recently made two YouTube videos of them, which are now on Jim’s YouTube page. See what you think!
September 2011Healdsburg was a hit! What a fantastic guitar festival filled with great guitars and great people. My performance went well and a couple clips are now up on my YouTube page. It was good to see Tom Doerr again and below is a picture of us at his booth. It was also good to meet Jim Worland and I’m now spending some time with a pair of his Worlatron electric guitars. August 2011This month I'll be traveling out to Santa Rosa, California to perform at the acclaimed Healdsburg Guitar Festival. I hope to see some of you there.
July 2011I had the pleasure of hanging out with a good friend and talented luthier, David Taylor, this month at the annual CAAS convention here in Nashville. May 2011On May 19th, the GRAMMY Foundation visited Glencliff High School to present the 2011 GRAMMY Enterprise Award. It was an amazing night and the award and grant money will ensure a bright future for my guitar program.
April 2011I'm extremely excited to announce that on April 19th, the GRAMMY Foundation announced its music education award winners and I have officially won a 2011 GRAMMY Enterprise Award for my teaching at Glencliff High School! I'm honored to have won and this will be a great opportunity for me to continue to educate future generations of guitar players. January 2011January has been an amazing month. I am absolutely thrilled to announce the Grammy Foundation has nominated me for a GRAMMY Award! The nomination is for my teaching and I am humbled and honored. I will certainly keep everyone posted if I win. In addition, K&K made me their January artist of the month. December 2010I recently had the pleasure of recording at Fly By West Recording Studios here in Nashville and am looking forward to everyone hearing the new recordings! April 2010Proud to have performed at the Newport Guitar Festival at the Ft. Lauderdale Hard Rock Casino Resort! Also, had a big gig opening for Faith Hill in a Nashville benefit concert at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

January 2010Happy New year! Some very exciting news to report - I have finished my Masters degree! Also, my new album is written and i'll be heading into the studio very soon to record the new tunes. December 2008 I recently completed a collaboration with California based and award-winning photographer, Dick Sanders, for a photo slide show of his street portraits. I composed a piece featuring fingerstyle guitar and cello. Paul Nelson did a fantastic job on the cello part. The slide show is now up on YouTube. I recently had an interview with Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine for an upcoming review of my album, "Guitar Out Front." More info to come! October 2008 I've been invited to work on a very exciting project for Solid Air Records. The album will be a tribute to famed composers Richard and Robert Sherman. I'll be recording "Let's Go Fly A Kite." There are some fantastic award-winning guitarists involved and it's very exciting and humbling to be part of the album.
